Gonzales cross country participates in cleanup

With the cross country running season right around the corner, the Gonzales High team joined other local teams to prepare the Toro Park Course in Salinas for the many competitions that will take place on the site.

Horned Toads run by Gonzales, 48-14

A potent running game and a short field was all the Coalinga High Horned Toads needed to defeat the Gonzales Spartans on Friday at Dick Force Stadium. Coalinga improved to 2-0 after the 48-14 win and Gonzales fell to 0-2 in non-league play.

Lady Bruins beat York, lose to Spartans

The Greenfield High softball team split their league games as they defeated visiting York and lost to the Gonzales Spartans. The Lady Bruins beat the York Falcons 18-1 on Friday and lost 7-1 earlier in the week to Gonzales.
