The South Valley Stealth softball team placed third in the 16 and under B Division at the Northern California Qualifying Tournament this past weekend at the Twin Creeks Softball Complex in Sunnyvale.

Maria Hernandez had a double-double in scoring and rebounding to lead the Greenfield High Bruins to a 48-37 victory over visiting Gonzales last Friday night. The win helped the Lady Bruins improve to 3-7 in the Mission Trail Athletic League.
