Horned Toads run by Gonzales, 48-14

A potent running game and a short field was all the Coalinga High Horned Toads needed to defeat the Gonzales Spartans on Friday at Dick Force Stadium. Coalinga improved to 2-0 after the 48-14 win and Gonzales fell to 0-2 in non-league play.

Volleyball | South County weekly roundup

Greenfield High volleyball team played two games last week in the Pacific Coast Athletic League. The Lady Bruins lost to the York School Falcons and to Oakwood.

Emily Espino to play ball in San Diego

Emily Espino, the 19-year-old daughter of Lorenzo and Denise of King City will be continuing her education and softball playing at San Diego Christian College next year after signing a Letter of Intent last week at Hartnell College.
