Elsie Ines (Bassi) Costa, 88, of Soledad, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018. She was born September 22, 1929, in Soledad, CA, and was raised and spent the majority of her life in the Soledad Mission District. She attended Mission Union Elementary School, Gonzales High School, and San Jose State University where she received her teaching degree and minored in music.

Quintil Otilio Cardona García was born in Coroneo, Guanajuato on February 12, 1946. He was one of 14 children of Juan and Jovita Cardona.

Carolina (Bina) Uccelli, 83, of Salinas, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 18, 2017 surrounded by her family. Carolina was born in Soledad to Stefanina and Emilio Battilocchi. She was raised on the family ranch in San Lucas and graduated from King City High School in 1951.

Maria Trinidad Camarena was born Oct. 21, 1920, in Santa Ana Maya, Michoacan, Mexico, to parents Espiridion and Lucia Alvarez.

Lew Kent Borzini, 76, of Greenfield, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday December 29th. Lew was born on September 1st, 1941 in King City to Lucio and Bernice Borzini.

Joe Merkle, 95 of Paso Robles slipped into unconsciousness May 27th, 2019.

Terri Lin Johnson, 67 of Greenfield passed away on Friday, April 22, 2017 at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital with her sons by her side.

Eldon W. Pura, 93 of Greenfield passed away on April 24, 2018.
