Dessie Marie Williams Burpo, 86 of Greenfield, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Stanford Medical Center with her family by her side.

Longtime Greenfield resident Elidía C. Sanchez passed away surrounded by loved ones Tuesday, August 29th.

Leslie Plaskett Merrill passed away on August 3, 2017, in the loving embrace of her family. She was born in King City, CA and later moved to the Monterey Peninsula. Leslie loved her life overlooking the bay with the love of her life, her husband Scott. She enjoyed taking big ocean walks and watching the seals and otters play outside their window. Leslie loved watching Scott teach martial arts at Monterey Sports Center and was so happy to be Mrs. Sensei. She and Scott enjoyed their vacations in Lake Tahoe, where they had spent their honeymoon, and returned every year. A talented stylist, Leslie took wonderful care of her clients and valued their friendship greatly. She adored her children and grandchildren and cherished time spent with family.

On August 15, 2019, Mr. Jesus Q. Tamayo Sr. died at his home among family.

Carolina (Bina) Uccelli, 83, of Salinas, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 18, 2017 surrounded by her family. Carolina was born in Soledad to Stefanina and Emilio Battilocchi. She was raised on the family ranch in San Lucas and graduated from King City High School in 1951.

Gloria Blomquist passed away on December 21st, at the age of 91.

Joseph M. Suniga, 55, of Greenfield, passed away suddenly, Friday, March 30, 2018, at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital.

Patricia Borzini, 94, of Greenfield passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2019.

On April 6th 2019, Roger Dale Akers passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side, and now joins numerous loved ones up in heaven.

Edubijen Gonzales Resendez, aka Don Vicke, 86 of Sacramento, Calif. passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at UC Davis Hospital after a recent heart problem.
