South County football teams prep for season

The Greenfield Lady Bruin softball team completed the regular season in the Coastal Athletic League and won a co-championship with the King City Mustangs as both teams finished with 11-4 records.
Bruins .500 in league
The Greenfield Bruins baseball team concluded the season with convincing wins over the Marina Mariners. Greenfield finished the Mission Trail Athletic League with a 9-9 record and were 12-14 overall.
Bruins track team competes in last MTAL championship
A sixth straight championship also meant an end of an era for the King City boys track and field team. The Mustangs won the Mission Trail Athletic League in what was the last championship meet for them in the MTAL as next year King City, Gonzales, Greenfield and Soledad will be members of the Pacific Coast Athletic League.
