Local cities responding to Grand Jury rape kit report
Gonzales city officials formally submitted a response on Monday to a Grand Jury report that found law enforcement agencies in Monterey County lacked the adequate resources for rape kit testing. The city is required by law to respond to the report.

Greenfield men arrested for firing gun, violating probation
On Sept. 7, at about 8:50 p.m., a citizen called 911 and reported a subject who shot a firearm in the 300 block of Apple Avenue in the City of Greenfield, and was still in the area.

Jury convicts Greenfield man for possessing child porn
GREENFIELD — A former resident of Greenfield has been found guilty of possessing child pornography.
