Hundreds of Soledad students started the 2019-20 school year this week with a brand new pair of shoes, thanks to a grant from My New Red Shoes.

Third-grade students were given a treat last Friday as they received dictionaries from the Greenfield Rotary Club.

School is back in session, but over the summer a few select students learned about the workings of local government through Sen. Anna Caballero’s 2019 Young Legislators Program, and now the South County youth will be sharing their experience with their respective cities.
