GREENFIELD — About 300 seniors at Greenfield High School recently received a pocket-sized copy of the U.S. Constitution, thanks to the Greenfield Rotary Club. Every senior will now have an opportunity to learn more about the Constitution with their copy while attending their senior civics class.
Considered the most important document in American history, the Constitution represents the foundation of the American republic. The recent elections, both national and local, have brought attention to the importance of owning and knowing the Constitution.
The Rotary Club was able to offer this gift through funds from a district Rotary Community Grant and donations from Greenfield Rotary members.
