Monterey County Sheriff’s Office may have found the body of a Greenfield man who was struck by a vehicle and thrown into the river off a local bridge in February 2017, officials said Friday.

A Greenfield man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that injured one woman outside a local convenience store on Christmas Day.

Greenfield Police Department announced Tuesday that detectives have arrested the suspect involved in a 2017 stabbing that left one woman in critical condition.

Monterey County District Attorney Dean D. Flippo has announced that Uriel Medina, 20, of Greenfield, pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery from a January 2016 incident where he and another man held two employees and two customers of a gas station at gunpoint.

Greenfield resident Douglas Icabaceta was sentenced May 3 to four years in prison for attempted robbery at the local McDonald’s last August.

South County Major Crimes Unit has released a video surveillance photo of a suspect involved in a recent robbery at a convenience store in Greenfield.

Last Sunday’s shooting that injured a 19-year-old man in King City has been determined to be accidental and self-inflicted, according to investigators from the Major Crimes Investigations Unit.
