Nancy Garcia, 62, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018 at her home in Jackson, N.J.
Nancy was married to long-time Greenfield resident, Robert Garcia.
Born in Elizabeth, Nancy lived in East Brunswick, N.J., and for the past 15 years, resided in Jackson. She loved sewing and embroidery, attending craft fairs and making creative holiday decorations, especially for Easter and Christmas.
Nancy also loved gardening; half her garden was dedicated to vegetables and the rest was for her flowers. Her husband Robert made sure all year round he was able to pick a flower to give her from her garden every day.
Nancy was predeceased by her father, Andrew Olenik Jr.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, Robert “Bob” Garcia of Jackson; daughter Stacey Dewey and husband John of California; mother Mary Ann Dorio; sister Lynn Reed and brothers Andy and Gary Olenik.
Visitation was held Dec. 27, 2018 at Rezem Funeral Home in East Brunswick.
Service took place on Dec. 28, 2018, at the funeral home, followed by burial at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, N.J.
The Garcia family wishes to thank friends and family for all their thoughts and prayers.
