GREENFIELD — Last Saturday Assemblymember Anna Caballero hosted a workshop for local girls and women to explore their career interests at the Greenfield Community Center at Patriot Park.
The Oct. 6 workshop — a collaboration with the City of Greenfield, Greenfield Community Science Workshop and Councilmember Yanely Martinez — focused on empowering girls in fifth through eighth grades to become the leaders of tomorrow.
They learned skills to exercise the power of their voice, heard from local professionals about their education and careers and participated in an engineering activity.
