GREENFIELD — The community of Greenfield is invited to a cannabis outreach event that will be at the Veteran’s Memorial Hall on Saturday, April 22.
“The first community outreach event we’re going to have is a social gathering, mixer type event,” said cannabis business owner Sal Palma. “The community can come and meet the operators and get some one-on-one face time. Any questions that the community has will be answered.”
The event, sponsored by the Greenfield Community Outreach Coalition and the Medical Cannabis Industry, is open to the public, age 21 and over, and will include food, beer and wine. The event is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 615 El Camino Real.
“Our subsequent events thereafter are going to be geared toward general canvassing, education and hiring job fairs,” Palma said. “For the first event, we just wanted an open forum where the community can come and meet all of the operators.”
