GREENFIELD — A number of supporters gathered Monday morning to endorse Chris Lopez (above) in his candidacy for Third District supervisor of Monterey County during a press conference outside the Greenfield Civic Center.
Those showing support for Lopez included Hartnell College Trustee Candi DePauw (below), former County Supervisor Butch Lindley and current District 3 Supervisor Simon Salinas, who recently announced his retirement from office.
Lopez, who lives in Greenfield, currently works as Salinas’ chief of staff.
