GREENFIELD — Greenfield Mayor Pro-Tem Avelina Torres stands behind a new coat donation bin set up at the Greenfield Civic Center this week.
Torres started the coat drive this year with the help of the Greenfield Community Science Workshop, which built the train-themed bin and signs.
The community may drop off new or gently used coats inside the bin at City Hall, 599 El Camino Real, or at the Science Workshop, 45 El Camino Real, through Dec. 21.
All the coats will be donated to local shelters for those in need.
