GREENFIELD — Members of American Legion Post 635 of Greenfield led Memorial Day ceremonies Monday, with help from the Ladies Auxiliary and local churches, to honor those who have died while serving in the U.S. military. First Southern Baptist Church hosted a ceremony at Oak Park Cemetery, with Hermon Delmenico, a 49-year member of the American Legion, and Pastor Andrew Salinas of El Shaddai Church (pictured below). Holy Trinity Church hosted another program at Greenfield Catholic Cemetery (above). Both events featured a flag salute, prayers and the reading of the names of the fallen soldiers from Greenfield.
