GREENFIELD — A groundbreaking ceremony to commence the building of the new elementary school on Apple Avenue will take place Thursday, June 1, at 5 p.m., hosted by the Greenfield Union School District.
The district’s Board of Trustees, staff and students will join local leaders to celebrate the newest addition to the district. The new school, funded through the passage of bonds from Measures C and D, is located at 1226 Apple Ave., between 12th and 13th streets.
The community is invited to attend the ceremony and learn more about the construction timeline and the impact it will have on local students. Light refreshments will be provided.
