Carrillo’s Karate Dojo members attended the Black Belt Banquet that took place April 22 at Patriot Park in Greenfield. Attending the event were: Jose Luis Correa Jr., Alan Alcaraz, Sensei Olgalidia Ramirez, Yaritzy Ramirez, Alexander Alcaraz, Diego Martinez, Oscar Martinez, Gabriel Magallon, Roosevelt Sosa, Joseph Rivas, Daisy Picazo, Jonathon Picazo, Adrian Picazo and Sensei Rigo Carrillo.
SOUTH COUNTY — Members of Carrillo’s Karate Dojos from Greenfield and King City attending a Black Belt Banquet on April 22 at Patriot Park in Greenfield. Eleven students received their certificates and black belts in Shotakan karate at the event.
The two Dojos have been busy as they attended a tournament last weekend in Cupertino. The next tournament will be the fall tournament for the Greenfield and King City Dojos that have a combined 50 students. A select group of students are also training for the International Tournament that will be held in Portugal.
