Mentors sought for Girls Inc program
Volunteer women mentors are currently needed to work with high school girls in Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito counties through the Girls Inc. of the Central Coast’s ECHO Leadership and Mentoring Program.

Southern Monterey County Republican Women Federated awarded $1,000 scholarships to Luz Andrea Perez-Ponce from Greenfield High School and Bret Wilkins from King City High School.
Greenfield Pharmacy to close this week
Longtime local business Greenfield Pharmacy will close this week after 57 years in operation. The pharmacy’s last day will be this Friday, with the business and inventory having been sold to Rite Aid.
