May 26

11:44 a.m. Outside Assist on the 400 block of Bassett Street.

May 27

2:37 a.m. Arrest report on the 700 block of Broadway Street.

3:47 p.m. Found Property report on the 400 block of Collins Street.

May 28

2:15 a.m. DUI arrest report on the 300 block of Broadway Street.

6:33 a.m. Report of vandalism on the 600 block of Broadway.

7:13 p.m. Petty theft on the 200 block of Nantucket Way.

May 29

3:09 p.m. Vandalism report on the 1300 block of Broadway Circle.

7:20 p.m. Stolen vehicle report on the 400 block of Jayne Street.

May 30

3:26 p.m. Victim reported an identity theft on the 400 block of Bassett Street.

4:21 p.m. Reporting party wanted to report a fraudulent check on the 700 block of South First Street.

11:00 p.m. Outside assist on the 400 block of S. Belvzn Street.

May 31

7:27 a.m. Stolen vehicle report on the 600 block of Broadway Street.

9:55 a.m. Arrest report on the 600 block of Broadway Street.

2:16 p.m. Vandalism report on the 600 block of Maple Street.

7:26 p.m. Arrest report on the 200 block of S. Third Street.

8:58 p.m. Arrest report on the N. Vanderhurst Avenue.

June 1

7:06 p.m. Hispanic male adult cited for driving with a suspended driver’s license and possession of drug paraphernalia.

   

SOLEDAD

May 24

10:04 a.m. A suspect was evicted from his address and he abandoned his two dogs on Pine Street. The suspect failed to provide any care for his dogs since the eviction, therefore, his dogs were seized for their health and safety.

4:23 p.m. Vehicle was towed away after the vehicle was tagged for 72 hours discovered to be abandoned on Christierson and Anderson street. Cobwebs and debris was found underneath the vehicle’s tires. The vehicle was stored.

8:24 p.m. Victim reported a hispanic female adult, mid 40’s, heavy set entered the bakery, snuck behind the counter and took the victim’s purse without her knowledge on Monterey Street. Suspect left in a white newer model chrysler 300. Victim had misc. credit cards, social security cards and money inside her purse. Incident was captured on surveillance.

9:26 p.m. Victim and suspect had been in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical assault. Suspect wrapped his arm around the victim’s neck, causing pain and discomfort. No visible signs of injuries were seen although, the victim claimed she had difficulty breathing when she was strangled. Suspect was booked and lodged into County Jail.

May 25

9:35 a.m. During a traffic stop, officers received consent by the driver to search the vehicle on Kidder Street. Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was located inside the vehicle. The suspect was booked and released with a citation.

12:04 p.m. An unknown subject broke into a residence through a side window and stole multiple items while the residents were not home on Front Street.

2:58 p.m. Reporting party is in the process of obtaining a custody order for his granddaughter, and did not want her to be released to her biological father on Entrada Drive. Both child and father were contacted. The father was reported missing from County Behavioral Health, but was in sound condition. He was later removed from the system and took the child.

5:04 p.m. A house was broken in to some time during the day when the residents were gone on Third Street. There was no signs of forced entry and there is no suspect information.

May 26

11:51 a.m. A hit and run occurred in the area of Front Street and Dixie Street. The victim and his passenger had no injuries. Moments later, the suspect vehicle was located at another location and was towed by Mike’s Tow.

12:52 p.m. A pug puppy entered the neighbors back yard and it was attacked by the Jack Russell dog that lives there on Nestles Road. The pug puppy was transported to a local vet by the Jack Russell’s owner. The puppy eventually died from the injuries it had sustained.

1:05 p.m. A male was contacted in the front lobby of the Police Department reporting on an unknown person stole the rear license plate to his vehicle on Malaga Court, while being parked in his driveway.

May 27

10:52 a.m. Reporting party left her purse at a restaurant and when she came back it was gone on Front Street.

5:59 p.m. Vehicle vs. Pedestrian inside the apartment complex on Monterey Street. A juvenile was riding his bicycle when he collided with a pickup. The juvenile was flown out by Calstar.

7:27 p.m. Victim reported her boyfriend punched and beat her several nights prior while in Soledad. The victim was now with family and wanted to report the incident. Victim provided suspect information but said he is homeless.

May 28

3:12 p.m. Soledad Officers responded to a past tense vandalism to a vehicle on Vineyard Drive. The suspect shattered the driver side window. The victim requested a police report.

7:12 p.m. Soledad units responded to the area in regards to a traffic collision on Head Street. The subject collided with two parked vehicles.

11:07 p.m. Officer assisted an outside agency by attempting to contact a person of interest for their case in Cordoba Street. Subject was not at the residence.

May 29

8:30 a.m. A blue Honda Prelude was stolen overnight on Palm Avenue.

7:42 p.m. Child Protective Services referral on West Street.

9:55 p.m. Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Soledad Street for a report of a physical fight.  Officer contacted reporting party who was involved in physical fight with neighbor. Reporting party had a bite mark on his right arm and said the neighbor threatened him but declined prosecution and medical attention. Neighbor fled prior to Officer’s arrival.

11:09 p.m. Officer observed a suspicious vehicle parked on Los Coches Drive. The vehicle was found to be unoccupied. Vehicle was found to be stolen from Salinas that same day.

May 30

10:41 a.m. A juvenile female was found to be in possession of marijuana and promethazine on school grounds. She was issued a citation and released to her guardian.

1:02 p.m. A female juvenile walked away from school without telling anyone and has not been heard from by anyone on Gabilan Drive. She will not answer her phone and is still at large. A BOL was broadcasted and she was entered into MUPS.

3:01 p.m. Soledad police responded to a non-injury traffic collision at Metz Road and Third Street. Both parties declined medical attention and one driver was cited at the scene.

3:53 p.m. A family dispute over part of the family living with the grandmother led to a physical altercation on Soledad Street. All parties involved were arrested and transported to the Soledad Police where they were issued citations.

9:54 p.m. Officer responded to the City of Gonzales after a distressed solo officer handling a combative and hostile subject on S. Belden Street. The combative male was wrestled down to the ground and took 8 officers to restrain him. Officers held him down to the ground for about 30-45 minutes before he was sedated twice at the scene by medical staff.

May 31

1:44 a.m. Officers were dispatched for a report of violation of a served domestic violence protective order. Rudy Revillas was contacted in front of the residence in violation of the order and also found to have one felony and four misdemeanor warrants. Revillas was arrested and booked into Monterey County Jail.

12:37 p.m. Officer was dispatched to the school in regards to a student being in possession of drugs on Main Street. Juvenile subsequently booked, cited and released to parent.

12:44 p.m. A vehicle was towed from Encinal and Front Street after the vehicle was found with debris underneath the tires and cobwebs around the tires.

2:45 p.m. Officer was dispatched to the front lobby in regards to a cell phone that was taken while he was at school on Gabilan Drive.

9:27 p.m. Reporting party called to report her brother-in-laws Gold 1993 Honda Accord 4 door was taken from the rear parking lot on Kidder Street while she was inside. Vehicle was previously stolen in 2014.

   

GONZALES

June 7

12:29 p.m. Gonzales Officers responded to the area of Gonzales River Road and Alpine Avenue regarding a non-injury traffic collision.

6:44 p.m. Gonzales Officers investigated a hit and run collision on the 400 block of Alta Street.

10:33 p.m. Officers investigated a vandalism report on the 200 block of Ninth Street.

   

Greenfield police briefs were not available at press time.
