GREENFIELD — The Greenfield Lady Bruin softball team completed the regular season in the Coastal Athletic League and won a co-championship with the King City Mustangs as both teams finished with 11-4 records.

Last Friday in Carmel the Bruins represented the Coastal League in a playoff game against the Padres to determine the third Central Coast Section qualifier spot. Greenfield represented the Coastal League as they beat co-champion King City two of three games during the regular season.

The Padres downed Greenfield 22-2 in the playoff game. Bianca Alvarez, Andrea Pantoja, and Ariel Carrillo had basehits and Aligha Ramey led the Lady Bruins with a double and a homerun. Greenfield finished the season with a 13-9 overall record.

The Lady Bruins were coached this season by head coach Cindy Lopez and assistant coach Artie Carrillo.
