GREENFIELD — Greenfield Lady Bruins won two of three basketball games last week to improve to .500 for the non-league season at 3-3.
Greenfield defeated the Marina Mariners 40-21, lost to the Salinas Cowboys 40-35, and edged the Monterey Toreadores, 32-30. All three games were played in the Greenfield gym.
In the loss to Salinas High the following evening, Aligha Ramey led the Greenfield scores with 10 points.
Last Friday night against Monterey Alize Ortiz led the Greenfield scorers with 11 points. The Lady Bruins have another busy week on tap as they host Trinity Christian on Monday, played Coalinga Union in Coalinga last night, and play at Kirby on Friday night.
