GREENFIELD — National Night Out returned to the Greenfield Village gazebo last Tuesday, bringing the community together with police officers, firefighters and city employees for one night to build relationships and stand united against crime.
The Aug. 6 event included public safety information, music, free food, bounce houses and a helicopter landing by California Highway Patrol.
The annual community-building campaign promotes partnerships between local law enforcement and residents with the goal of making neighborhoods safer.
“Greenfield’s 2019 National Night Out was a success,” said Greenfield Police. “We would like to acknowledge the first responders and thank them for making our National Night Out complete.”
