GREENFIELD — Community members gathered Monday morning at Holy Trinity Cemetery for the annual Memorial Day ceremony, hosted by the catholic church in partnership with the American Legion Post 635 of Greenfield to honor those who have died while serving in the U.S. military.
The May 27 program featured a display of flags, prayers and the reading of the names of the fallen soldiers from Greenfield.
A similar ceremony was also held that morning at Oak Cemetery.
