GREENFIELD — Greenfield police officers responded to a report of an attempted kidnapping last Thursday in the 200 block of San Antonio Drive in Greenfield.
Police said the 9-year-old victim was walking home from school when a lone male driving a blue truck pulled up alongside her. He told the girl to get in the truck, but she refused and fled the scene.
The suspect was described as having short cropped gray hair, blue eyes, an unshaven face with freckles and a light complexion.
