June 25

12:59 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the area in regards to the report of a brush fire on Martinez Place. The brush fire was located west of the brick wall divider to the apartment complex and east of the railroad tracks. The fire was subsequently put out by Cal Fire. No injuries or damage to structures.

10:33 a.m. Soledad officers responded to the high school in regards to a past tense vandalism on Gablian Drive.

12:01 a.m. Soledad Officers responded to the motel in regards to a past tense vandalism to a water heater on Front Street.

1:15 p.m. Soledad Officers responded to the area in regards to a non-injury hit and run on Dixie Street.

June 26

8:00 a.m. Reporting party discovered his vehicle was damaged by another vehicle on H. De La Rosa Sr. Street.

9:00 a.m. A citizen arrived at the Soledad Police Department to report her adult daughter missing on Burke Street.

12:30 p.m. A vehicle was vandalized over the weekend on Palm Avenue.

June 27

4:13 a.m. Driver stopped for not stopping at a stop sign and found to be driving with a suspended license on Market Street.

7:28 a.m. An individual was arrested and issued a citation for a traffic warrant on Market Street.

7:00 p.m. Soledad officers responded to the residential area in regards to a residential burglary on Front Street.

7:34 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a domestic in a vehicle in the parking lot of Buena Vista Park Apartments.

June 28

6:43 a.m. A theft of miscellaneous property occurred over night on Market Street.

8:35 a.m. Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Park Street for report of vandalism.

10:39 a.m. A parent came to the police department to report her daughter as a runaway juvenile.

2:38 p.m. Officer observed a vehicle parked on a public road with registration that had been expired for greater than six months on Market Street.

8:38 p.m. Officer observed a male stumbling as he walked along Third Street.

9:08 p.m. Soledad Officers responded to the area in regards to a theft of a black backpack on H. De La Rosa Street.

June 29

12:32 a.m. Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle where the occupants had been reported as urinating in public on Front Street.

11:47 a.m. A vehicle drove off the road and collided with bushes and a fence on San Gabriel. The driver of the vehicle fled and later called 911 to report he was in an accident. The victim wanted to press charges for a hit and run. The driver was arrested, booked and released to a parent with a citation.

1:30 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a past tense burglary to a residence on Palm Avenue.

3:33 p.m. While on patrol, Officer witnessed a male subject who was walking with a stagger following a female on Buena Vista.

4:02 p.m. A male witnessed stealing of a backpack style blower from a public works truck on Vista De Soledad.

6:56 p.m. Two juveniles were contacted for lighting illegal fireworks in front of the residence on East Street. Both subjects were issued citations for being in violation of the state law and local ordinance.

8:56 p.m. A male subject was contacted while lighting illegal fireworks on the street on Granada Street.

June 30

10:44 a.m. Two public property walls were vandalized with graffiti on Park Street.

8:34 p.m. Reporting party called to report his parked vehicle had been struck on Ledesma Street.

10:07 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a battery on Nestles Road.

July 1

5:13 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the area in regards to an unknown traffic collision on Eighth Street.

8:36 p.m. A male subject was contacted for discharging illegal fireworks on the street on Jimenez Street.

9:01 p.m. A male subject was contacted for discharging illegal fireworks on Ridgeview Court.

9:14 p.m. Traffic stop conducted on vehicle for a broken headlight on Orchard Lane.

10:49 p.m. A male subject was contacted while he was lighting fireworks on the front yard on Goldenrod Street. Family members informed officers that the subject had also lit fireworks inside the home.

July 2

9:49 p.m. Soledad officers received multiple complaints of illegal fireworks on the 900 block of Las Flores.

July 3

9:17 a.m. A man was contacted in a public place for urinating in public and being intoxicated on Front Street.

11:33 a.m. Subject reported his wife had taken their three children in common and fled to Mexico without his consent on Market Street.

1:51 p.m. A male was witnessed damaging his mother’s property by her and she wanted to press charges for vandalism for Fifth Street.

9:04 p.m. A male subject was contacted for discharging illegal fireworks on the Street at Goldenrod. Subject was issued a citation.

9:37 p.m. A male juvenile was contacted for discharging illegal fireworks on Market Street. Subject was issued a citation.

9:36 p.m. A male subject was contacted for discharging illegal fireworks on East Street.

  

GONZALES

July 6

7:13 a.m. Gonzales Officers responded to the 300 block of Angus Drive regarding a vandalism report.

1:04 p.m. Gonzales Officers responded to the 400 block of Rincon Road regarding an injured kitten.

4:00 p.m. Gonzales Officers were dispatched to the 99 block of C Street regarding a physical altercation.

6:11 p.m. Gonzales Police conducted a traffic stop on the 200 block of Sixth Street.

July 9

12:15 a.m. Gonzales Police Officers contacted a subject who was stumbling near the intersection of Fanoe Road and Barbera Way.

12:11 p.m. Gonzales Officers conducted a traffic stop on the 0 to 99 block of First Street for a vehicle code violation and found the driver to be unlicensed.
