Council adopts budget

At its regular meeting last week, Greenfield City Council approved the city’s budget for fiscal year 2017-18, which contains funding for five additional employees, including a full-time code enforcement officer.

Scheid Vineyards installs wind turbine

A new wind turbine with blades reaching nearly 400 feet into the sky was erected last week at Scheid Vineyards, where the machine will generate 100 percent of the power needed to run the winery and bottling operations four miles south of Greenfield.
