The fun and fabulous Trashion Show returns to King City for the third year. This year’s event promises to be even more exciting with a new theme, a new fashion presenter and over 22 unique one-of-a-kind dresses made from recycled and repurposed everyday trash.

When Laina Babb learned to sew at age 6, she never imagined it would lead her to the opera. She has made her love of sewing into a career, first training and then apprenticing as a tailor. Now, as LA Opera’s head tailor, Babb manages a team of up to six tailors (depending on the show). Together they craft all the men’s suits used in the company’s productions in downtown Los Angeles.
